OUTDOOR VIRTUAL WALL SENSING SYSTEMS
The main advantage of the STHS34PF80 is its ability to detect presence as well as movement direction in this product. Furthermore, these sensing systems exhibit excellent stability, repeatability, and low noise at elevated temperatures. They are not sensitive to mechanical vibrations that affect pyro sensors. The overall performance features render this product
(Differential STHS34PF80) most suitable for securing virtual walls at outdoors. These sensors may be useful for securing fences and surroundings of important zones. By combining STHS34PF80 with True Differential STHS34PF80, both presence as well as movement may be detected even at harsh environmental conditions (sun, rain, fog).
The moving target gradually fills the Field of View of the sensors if the measurement is faster than target’s speed. At the same time, the background, which is significantly farther and bigger than target and fills the Field of View of both sensors simultaneously, is removed. Thus, the sensor operates at outdoor conditions and is not affected either by the sun or rain.
